Details

Cameron Barracks (Inverness) is being considered as temporary accommodation for asylum seekers, while Crowborough Training Camp (East Sussex) is now operational.

The factsheets explain the purpose of using Cameron Barracks and Crowborough Training Camp as temporary accommodation for asylum seekers who would otherwise be destitute.

The sites are part of the government’s commitment to exit hotel use and provide more suitable, managed accommodation.
