The following companies have amended their advertising following MHRA action on complaints to ensure the Prescription-Only Medicine (POM) Kenalog (triamcinolone acetonide, including reference to “hay fever injection” or similar) is not promoted to the public for the treatment of hay fever. Advertising Regulations prohibit the publishing of an advertisement to the public that is likely to lead to the use of a POM. Furthermore, Kenalog is not a licensed treatment for hay fever.
