On 11 February 2016, The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) gave Ofqual an undertaking which sets out the steps it will take to secure compliance with our ‘General Conditions of Recognition’, specifically:
- I3.3 - The content of certificates
- I4.1(e) - Issuing certificates and replacement certificates
ACCA have undertaken to review whether any Adverse Effect has arisen as a result of past non-compliance and take action to mitigate any Adverse Effect identified.
In line with general condition B8, ACCA must now take all the steps identified in the undertaking. We may take further action if it doesn’t follow through on its commitments.
