We are carrying out a review into what we should prioritise in the next phase of our strategy for achieving Officially Bovine Tuberculosis Free (OTF) status in England by 2038.

The review will be led and overseen by Professor Sir Charles Godfray. He will be supported by a small working group. The review is expected to begin in March and finish by the end of September 2018.

The review’s terms of reference set out what it will look at and how it will be carried out.

The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has written to Neil Parish MP, Chair of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee, to confirm that the review will be carried out.
