Key stage 2 teacher assessment

Information for schools and local authorities carrying out, moderating and reporting teacher assessment judgements at the end of key stage 2 (KS2).

Teacher assessment at the end of KS2 is statutory and helps teachers and parents understand what a pupil can do in relation to national expectations. It also enables the government to hold schools to account for the education they provide.

The guidance available in this collection will support schools in making statutory teacher assessment judgements for pupils at the end of KS2. It will also support schools and local authorities with the statutory moderation of these judgements and reporting the results.
