Teachers can use these materials to inform statutory teacher assessments at the end of KS1 and KS2, for pupils working below the national curriculum tests and teacher assessment frameworks but who are engaged in subject-specific study.
These materials are designed to support teachers in making judgements against the pre-key stage standards. If teachers are confident in their judgements, they do not need to refer to this document. These are for use from the 2018/19 academic year onwards.
