H.E Brian Olley

Biography

Brian joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 2002 and was Deputy High Commissioner in Cyprus until August 2013. His FCO career has covered a wide range of roles including working in Afghanistan and Finland. Mr Olley started his career in Her Majesty’s Forces where he served in New York (on secondment to the United Nations), Hong Kong, Nepal, Germany, Canada and the UK. He is married to Pascale Olley with one daughter and two sons.

British High Commissioner to Cameroon

The High Commissioner is the UK government’s representative in a Commonwealth nation. They are responsible for the direction and work of the High Commission and its Deputy High Commissions and/or Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
