Welcome pack and resources for 2025 Standard Crime Contract

The 2025 Standard Crime Contract goes live on 1 October alongside new guidance and welcome packs.

Help and guidance are now available for providers delivering work under the new 2025 Standard Crime Contract. These include welcome packs which explain the contents of the 2025 Standard Crime Contract alongside new guidance for Supervisors and Police Station Accredited Representatives, and updated Data Security guidance on Cyber Essentials accreditation.

Why is it happening now?

The new 2025 Standard Crime Contract goes live on October 1, 2025 and will run for 10 years, allowing providers to join and add new offices at any time in the contract lifespan.

For the 2025 Standard Crime Contract we have more flexible Supervision Requirements, including the removal of ratios. We have also produced guidance that signposts providers as to the available resources on effective supervision. 

  • Police Station Register Arrangements 2025 

We have updated the Police Station Register Arrangements to provide greater clarity on the registration, suspension and appeals process for Police Station Accredited Representatives. This includes extensive guidance on each step of the Police Station Accredited Representative process. 

  • Data Security Requirements 

The LAA’s Data Security Requirements and Guidance have been updated to reflect the LAA’s approach to Cyber Essentials accreditation.
