Unauthorised veterinary medicine for horses seized
Cur-OST Eq Inflammend Powder for horses seized at Belfast courier company.
A package containing Cur-OST Eq Inflammend Powder for horses was identified by a courier company based at a depot in Belfast.
The package had arrived from USA destined for a residential address in Northern Ireland. It was detained and subsequently seized by an inspector from the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA).
The following product was seized:
- 185g tub of Cur-OST Eq Inflammend Powder for horses
This product is not authorised for use in GB or NI and was not accompanied by any relevant certification to permit importation.
The medicine was seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
