CBD products seized
Details of 11 illegal animal medicines stopped at London Gateway.
A package containing illegal veterinary medicines was identified by Border Force at London Gateway Standford-le-Hope.
This parcel arrived from Switzerland containing medicines destined for an address in the Falkirk area.
The medicines were detained and subsequently seized by an Inspector from the VMD:
- 6 x Formula Swiss CBD Oil for Dogs MCT
- 2 x Formula Swiss CBD Oil for Dogs Olive
- 2 x Formula Swiss CBD Oil for Dogs Beef
- 1 x Formula Swiss Cannabidiol Raw
These products are intended for use in dogs and are not authorised veterinary medicines in GB or NI.
The medicines were seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
