PM speaks on 300th British fatality in Afghanistan

The Prime Minister has paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the 300 British servicemen and women who have died since operations in Afghanistan began in October 2001.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Speaking on the announcement of the 300th fatality, Mr Cameron said it was a moment to reflect on the “sacrifice and dedication that our armed services give on our behalf”.
