Minister for the Middle East Tobias Ellwood comments on attack at Imam Sadiq mosque in Kuwait City

Tobias Ellwood condemns attack and offers his condolences to the people of Kuwait.

Mr Ellwood said:

I am appalled by the attack at the Imam Sadiq mosque in Kuwait City. I offer my sincere condolences to the people of Kuwait, especially the families and loved ones of the victims. The UK stands firmly with our Kuwaiti friends at this very difficult time. Sadly this comes on a day where we have seen several acts of terrorism around the world and it is important that we all stand shoulder to shoulder in combating extremism.
