Minister for Africa offers condolences on Nigerian helicopter accident
Minister for Africe Mark Simmonds MP offered his condolences following the deaths of Governor Yakowa and General Azazi in Nigeria
Commenting on the helicopter accident in Nigeria on 15 December UK Minister for Africa Mark Simmonds MP said:
“I was saddened to learn of yesterday’s helicopter crash in which Governor Yakowa, and General Azazi were killed, along with four others. These men were respected leaders who worked hard for many years for the benefit of Nigeria.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the deceased.”
