National Historic Ships is running its photography competition in partnership with Classic Boat magazine for the second year running.

There is still time to submit your images before the competition closes on 31 August and all short-listed entrants will be invited to a prestigious awards ceremony aboard HMS Belfast.

There are several different categories with a range of prizes up for grabs and one entrant will also be declared the overall winner and walk away with a prize of £1,000.

There are also special categories for schoolchildren giving them the chance to win a digital camera for their school.

To enter a photograph in any of the competition categories, you will need to complete an online entry form. Entrants can submit up to two photographs per category.

Full rules, guidelines and details on short-listing, judging and prizes can be found on the National Historic Ships website.
