Foreign Secretary condemns attack on Pakistan's Frontier Corps in Quetta

Foreign Secretary William Hague has condemned the "cowardly" attacks on the Frontier Corps in Quetta on 7 September.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Speaking today the Foreign Secretary said:

“I condemn the cowardly attacks on the Frontier Corps in Quetta today. I offer my sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives and to those who have been injured.

This attack is a stark reminder of the threat Pakistan faces from terrorism. The UK is committed to standing together with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism in all its forms and we will continue to work together to counter this threat.”
