Foreign Office Minister offers condolences following plane crash in Nigeria

Minister for Africa Henry Bellingham said his thoughts are with the Nigerian people after a plane carrying around 150 people crashed in Lagos on 3 June.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Foreign Office Minister said:

“I wish to express my extreme sadness at the news of the airplane crash in Lagos, Nigeria. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the families of the bereaved and those injured. My thoughts are with the Nigerian people at this tragic time.”
