Foreign Office Minister Henry Bellingham met with the Honourable Minister for Petroleum Resources of Nigeria Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke to discuss the potential of the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Commenting on the meeting, Mr Bellingham said:

“The Honourable Minister for Petroleum Resources and I discussed Nigeria’s energy potential and the Petroleum Industry Bill. I stressed that a robust and transparent Petroleum Industry Bill could set a legal framework that ensures investor confidence in the oil and gas sector.
