Statement in response to the killing of Vittorio Arrigoni in Gaza City

Minister for the Middle East Alistair Burt said:

“I condemn the killing of Vittorio Arrigoni in Gaza and pass my condolences to his family and friends. It is clear those responsible have targeted an innocent man for their own selfish interests. Their cowardly actions have robbed the Palestinians of a true friend, and Vittorio Arrigoni’s family of a son. The authorities in Gaza must uphold their responsibility to bring to justice those responsible for this heinous act.”
