Animal medicine seizure notice: Parcel addressed to residential premises in Guildford, Surrey
Details of a seizure notice served following a parcel addressed to residential premises in Guildford, Surrey.
The following veterinary medicines were identified by a courier company. The products were detained and subsequently seized by the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.
This parcel was addressed to residential premises in Guildford, Surrey and was shipped from America. The parcel contained the following medicines:
- 1 x Legend Multi dose 20 mls
- 1 x Adequan Multi dose injection 50ml
These are injectable products intended for use in horses who have degenerative or dysfunctional joints and are not authorised veterinary medicines in the UK.
The medicines were seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
