The following veterinary medicines were stopped at Belfast City Airport and subsequently seized by Department of Health (NI).

The parcel was addressed to residential premises in Coalisland, County Tyrone and was shipped from South Africa. The parcel contained:

  • 12 x Entero Plus (500g)
  • 1 x Vitaton 34 (500g)
  • 5 x 4 in 1 Powder (100g)
  • 3 x Mediststin (100g)

These products are intended for use in pigeons and are not authorised veterinary medicines in the UK.

The medicines were seized under Regulation 25 (Importation of unauthorised veterinary medicinal products) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013.
