The Minister for the Constitution supports the Minister for Cabinet Office in delivering Cabinet Office policy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Parliamentary constituency boundaries
  • oversight of the devolution settlement
  • constitutional policy, including Crown affairs
  • political parties and referendums policy
  • democratic engagement
  • Public Appointments
  • FOI
  • Records and Archives
  • support to Minister for Cabinet Office on the functional agenda
