As part of our market investigation into veterinary services for household pets in the UK, we published the draft:

  • Veterinary Services Market Investigation Order 2026
  • Explanatory Note to this Order
  • Veterinary Services Market Investigation Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Undertakings 2026

The draft Order and Undertakings give effect to the inquiry group’s decisions in the final report, and will remedy, mitigate or prevent competition problems in this sector. We consulted on whether the drafting is consistent with the final report and the drafting achieves the aims of the remedies set out in the final report.
