Public Health England has opened a consultation this week in joint partnership with professional organisations.

The consultation asks for comments about the virology SMI ‘V 5 Investigation of Hepatitis C Infection by Antibody Testing or Combined Antigen/Antibody Assay’.

This UK Standard for Microbiology Investigations contains a laboratory diagnostic algorithm for the investigation of Hepatitis C. We would like input from a wide range of interested parties.
