Public Health England has opened a consultation this week in joint partnership with professional organisations.

The consultation asks for comments about the syndromic algorithm ‘S 2 Pneumonia’.

This UK Standard for Microbiology Investigations outlines the microbiology testing pathway for pneumonia and aims to describe the infections and relevant associated tests to consider based on clinical presentations.

We would like input from a wide range of interested parties.
