Consultation description

Consultation seeking public views about prohibiting the circulation of trade union blacklists. The draft regulations aim to:

  • define what a blacklist of trade unionists is, and prohibit making, sharing and using blacklists
  • stop organisations refusing to employ and employment agencies refusing a service to a worker for a reason relating to a blacklist
  • provide for employment tribunals and courts to hear complaints on related issues
