Consultation description

The Government has now confirmed the route of the section of Phase Two from Fradley in the West Midlands to Crewe. Safeguarding directions to protect this route has also been issued and can be accessed in our Safeguarding section.

The Government is now seeking the views of the public, in particular those along or near the line of route of the West Midlands to Crewe section of HS2 (Phase 2a), on the proposal to implement the same long-term property assistance schemes for this section as for Phase One.

The consultation closes on 25 February 2016. Emails and online responses can be submitted until 23:45 hrs on the final day of the consultation. Paper responses must be posted on or before the final day of the consultation. You can respond to the consultation in the following ways:
