HS2 Phase Two: from the West Midlands to Leeds and Manchester

Following confirmation of the HS2 Phase Two route from the West Midlands to Leeds and Manchester, a full safeguarding consultation for Phase Two of HS2 will be undertaken. Once this consultation is completed, safeguarding directions and maps will be published.

Following the recommendations made in HS2 Ltd’s chairman’s report ‘Rebalancing Britain: From HS2 towards a national transport strategy’ a consultation was launched on proposals to safeguard a section of the HS2 Phase Two route between Fradley and Crewe.

Property schemes

Following public consultation, a number of schemes have been developed to assist property owners affected by the HS2 route. Prior to applying for any of these schemes is vital that you have read and understood the guidance for that scheme and that you have consulted the maps relevant to that scheme as set out in the HS2 property schemes section.
