These maps are subject to the revised safeguarding directions issued on 22 August 2018. This update reflects the removal of safeguarded land no longer required at Langley.

The maps also show the Extended Homeowner Protection Zones. There are 2 such zones. The purple hatched area marked on the maps shows the areas of land that were in surface safeguarding according to the safeguarding directions issued on 24 October 2013, but which were removed from surface safeguarding on 26 June 2014.

The green hatched area marked on the maps shows the areas of land that were in surface safeguarding according to the safeguarding directions issued on 26 June 2014, but which were removed from surface safeguarding on 16 August 2016. Within these 2 zones, eligible owner occupiers will be able to serve a blight notice as if their property was still within safeguarding for a period of 5 years from the date the areas ceased being in surface safeguarding.
