Call for evidence description

This “Call for Evidence” sought views and evidence on proposed changes to the water Special Merger Regime. In particular, we sought views and evidence on proposals to increase the threshold at which mergers between water and sewerage companies are automatically referred by the Office of Fair Trading to the Competition Commission from the current level of £10m.

The Call for Evidence was aimed at Water and Sewerage Companies in England and Wales.
