Wildlife Offers: Countryside Stewardship

Offers to help farmers and land managers protect wildlife and preserve the natural environment: find out about funding and their benefits.

How the Offers benefit the environment

They support wildlife by creating:

  • sources of nectar and pollen for insect pollinators
  • winter food for seed-eating birds
  • improved habitats, especially for farmland birds and pollinators

How the Offers work

Each Offer has a set of options and minimum requirements. You need to meet these requirements to be eligible for funding. You’ll get a 5 year agreement with annual payments if you submit a valid application. Each option has a specific wildlife benefit and its own payment rate.

You’re limited to one application for each Single Business Identifier (SBI) you have for this round of Wildlife Offers.

Read the ‘what you need to know’ guides to understand:

  • the benefits to wildlife
  • the options
  • the payments you could receive
  • how to meet the requirements.

Use the Countryside Stewardship grant finder to understand:

  • the rules for each option and supplement
  • how to carry out each option and supplement successfully

Read the Countryside Stewardship: Mid Tier and Wildlife Offers manual to understand the requirements, rules and conditions that apply to an agreement.
