The UK NSC’s recommendations list shows whether screening is recommended for a condition or not. These pages also show if screening for a condition is currently being consulted on.

UK NSC carries out consultations on proposed screening recommendations following review of the evidence. Guidance on the UK NSC evidence review process and criteria is available in the section above.

UK NSC annual call
The annual call process enables individuals or organisations to submit proposals for:
- new screening topics
- an early review of an existing screening recommendation
- changes to, or ceasing of, an existing screening programme
