The UK Covid-19 Inquiry is an independent public inquiry established to:
- examine the UK’s response to and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic
- learn lessons for the future

The Inquiry has examined the UK response to the COVID-19 pandemic across 10 modules focusing on different topics.
The Inquiry conducted its public hearings for each module between June 2023 and March 2026, and began publishing reports containing findings and recommendations from July 2024. Chair of the Inquiry, Baroness Hallett, has announced that the Inquiry expects to publish all of its reports by mid-2027.

The Inquiry has so far published 5 reports, with 5 more due to be published by the end of 2027.
Government responses
The government has published responses to the first 3 reports of the Inquiry.
Implementation of recommendations
The government has set up a UK Covid-19 Inquiry Implementation Dashboard, which shows progress against all commitments made in its responses to the Inquiry’s recommendations.
This dashboard is updated every 6 months in May and November.
