Integrated curriculum and financial planning (ICFP)

We are encouraging schools to plan their curriculum and their finances in a combined exercise, providing free guidance and resources for heads, governors and school business managers to get started with ICFP.

Join the School Business Professionals (SBP) user group

Please email schools.commercial@education.gov.uk if you want to join the SBP user group and provide:

  • your full name
  • your job title
  • your school’s name
  • the names of other SBP networks you’ve already joined

The SBP user group is made up of school business professionals from a range of schools across the country.

The purpose of the user group is to:

  • give feedback to support the aims of the schools’ buying strategy
  • give feedback on the recommended deals
  • help develop buying guidance for SBPs

Membership is open to all SBPs. Your contribution can be organised around your normal school duties.

There’s a lot of financial management training and support available to school and trust leaders. This page will help you find and use it. It includes links to useful sector organisations, their training courses and other resources.
