Refugee sponsorship routes
Brings together information about the three refugee sponsorship routes: named community sponsorship, refugee study and refugee work.
Thank you for your interest in refugee sponsorship; a way for local communities, civil society organisations, universities and employers to directly support refugees they have identified for resettlement in the UK, subject to eligibility and security requirements.
Sponsors provide emotional and practical support to help refugees rebuild their lives in safety, integrate, and contribute as new members of their community.
The refugee sponsorship routes allow lead sponsors and sponsors to identify refugees they wish to sponsor to come to the UK.
This page contains links to information on how to apply to become a lead sponsor.
Further information, including guidance for sponsors and refugees, will be published shortly.
These refugee sponsorship routes are separate from the existing Community Sponsorship Scheme.
