Plan for Neighbourhoods

Documents and guidance relating to the £1.5 billion Plan for Neighbourhoods programme, which will bring communities together, improve living standards and give people in 75 places more of a stake in their future.

The Plan for Neighbourhoods programme reforms and expands on the previous administrations Long-Term Plan for Towns programme.

The Plan for Neighbourhoods programme was renamed Pride in Place Programme on 25 September 2025. The guidance for the 75 previously announced Plan for Neighbourhoods locations will be updated to reflect the renaming of the programme. Boards should continue to prepare to submit their Regeneration Plans by 28 November 2025. ​
