These official statistics in development cover labour market insights from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

This collection contains:

  • quarterly updates for the Universal Credit (UC) into-work rate, including a geographical breakdown

  • new labour market insights from DWP analysis

Quarterly data are published in October, January, April and July. The exact publication dates for the monthly and quarterly releases are listed in the statistics release calendar.

The Get Britain Working: Labour Market Insights April 2026 publication will be released at 9:30am on 30 April 2026. This publication will include labour market official statistics in development covering:

  • into-work rates for people on Universal Credit in the ‘Searching for work’ conditionality regime
  • English regional rates of people not in education, employment or training (NEET)
  • an update to the Get Britain Working outcome metrics
  • new statistics covering skills and employment across industrial sectors
