CfD Allocation Round Resource Portal

On behalf of the CfD Delivery Partners (LCCC, EMR Delivery Body and Ofgem), we have launched a new Allocation Round 3 (AR3) Resource Portal.

In response to stakeholder feedback from previous rounds, it aims to provide:

  • a single source of information relating to AR3
  • timely notifications: sign up to receive an email each time new information relating to AR3 is made available
  • Joint Query Management: submit your queries via the site and we will work together to provide you with an answer

Consultations and draft AR3 Contract documents

Ahead of AR3, the government ran a public consultation on amendments to the scheme. It covered:

  • the treatment of onshore wind on remote islands
  • the requirements applied to new Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects
  • a change in the definition of waste used in the CfD scheme
  • a further wider range of proposals.

A follow on consultation invited views on the how decisions resulting from the first consultation should be implemented into the CfD scheme.

The revised draft Standard Terms and Conditions and Generic Agreement documents are available along with the government response to the Amendments to Contract Consultation below. They reflect the changes made to the CfD contract from Allocation Round 3 (AR3) onwards.
