The ‘Centre for Applied Science and Technology’ (CAST) integrated with the ‘Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’ (Dstl) on 1 April 2018.

The Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) is made up of scientists and engineers who develop technological solutions to fight crime. CAST works with academia and industry. Contact details: switchboard 01727 865051 or information service 01727 816400. CAST has two sites in the UK: Sandridge in Hertfordshire and Langhurst in West Sussex.
