Use this service to get flood warnings from the Environment Agency if your home or organisation in England is at risk of flooding. The service is free.

You can get messages about flooding from rivers, the sea or groundwater, depending on your area.

You cannot get flood warnings for surface water flooding (sometimes known as ‘flash flooding’).

You’ll need:

  • an email address
  • a way to contact you at any time of day or night - you can choose to get a call, text or email
  • organisation details, if you’re signing up for an organisation
