Eligible visas when applying from inside the UK
You can apply for a faster decision on certain:
- visa applications
- applications to extend your stay in the UK
- applications to settle in the UK
You must have permission to be in the UK to use the priority or super priority service.
These tables list the eligible applications and whether you can pay to get a faster decision:
- within 5 working days
- by the end of the next working day
They also list the visa applications eligible for getting a faster decision depending on whether you’re applying:
- as the main applicant
- as a dependent partner or child
There’s a limit on how many people can apply for a faster decision. If you’re not offered the option to apply for a faster decision, you can still complete a standard application.
Whether you can get a faster decision depends on what you’re applying for and how you prove your identity.
You’ll prove your identity by either:
- attending an appointment at a UK Visa and Citizen Application Services (UKVCAS) centre
- using the ‘UK Immigration: ID Check’ app to scan your identity document
