The ‘priority service’ and ‘super priority service’ to get a faster decision on a visa or settlement (‘indefinite leave to remain’) application are both currently suspended because of coronavirus (COVID-19).
If you’ve already applied through the priority or super priority service
What happens with it will depend on the stage of your application.
If you’ve provided your biometric information
UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will still aim to respond to your application. You’ll get an email when a decision has been made, followed by a decision confirmation letter by post or email.
If you’re waiting for your decision confirmation letter
If you’ve got an email about the decision on your application, you’ll still get a decision confirmation letter by post or email. It may take longer than usual to arrive.
If you’ve received a decision confirmation letter
You’ll usually get your biometric residence permit (BRP) within 7 to 10 days of getting your letter.
If UKVI need more information
If you’ve applied but UKVI need more information from you, they will contact you to tell you how and when to provide it.
