Call to run a Technical Assistance project on smart specialisation in England.

Important Notice

How to apply

Step one: register

Put ‘Register to apply for ESIF’ in the subject line.

In the email, include:

  • full name of your organisation
  • email address
  • phone number (including extension)

Step two: make an outline application

We’ll register you on our system within 10 working days. Then we’ll contact you and tell you how to make your outline application.

You are also advised to read details on the selection and assessment of projects and the guidance and requirements on key areas of the funds that a successful applicant will need to comply with. The latest draft version of the European Regional Development Fund operational programme is also available to refer to.

In London, the Greater London Authority discharges many of the functions of the Managing Authority and applications for projects which cover London will be dealt with by the Greater London Authority. Information will be shared with the Greater London Authority for the purpose of carrying out the functions.
