Sustainable Urban Development call to run a project supporting the shift towards a low carbon economy and enhance research and innovation
This call has been updated following Priority Axis 4 changes to the ERDF Operational Programme. This call has also been updated to extend the closing date to 30 November 2017 with an additional assessment point on 31 October 2017.
This call is looking to support the shift towards a low carbon economy and to enhance research and innovation:
enhance research and innovation infrastructure and capacities to develop research and innovation excellence
promote business investment in research and innovation
promote the production and distribution of energy derived from renewable sources
promote energy efficiency and renewable energy use in enterprises
support energy efficiency, smart energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure
promote low-carbon strategies for all types of territories
promote research and innovation in, and adoption of, low-carbon technologies

Project’s put forward under this call must cover the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership area.
Up to £21,000,00 of funding is available through this call (£5,000,000 under Priority Axis 1 - Research and Innovation and £16,000,000 under Priority Axis 4 - Low Carbon). A minimum value of £500,000 of funding can be applied for.

It is anticipated that funding from this call will be awarded for up to 3 years.
