Details

The Skills Hub will ensure a clear path for employers in SCR to help them access support and guidance through the provision of:

  • assistance with the identification of skills need
  • advice service providing information and direct support to employers on how to access skills, and qualification support / provision
  • provide a focus on businesses not already engaged in skills development
  • support employers in key SCR growth industries
  • develop relationships with local skills providers and Skills Bank operator
  • support delivery of commissioned provision under ESF Priority 2.1
  • support promotion and participation with apprenticeships
  • ensure linkages with the national apprenticeship agenda
  • support wider links with education providers and industry stakeholders
  • make referrals to and receive referrals from the SCR Growth Hub
  • align service delivery with Growth Hub operations.

Value

Approximately £1,978,855 of funding is available.

Deadlines

Outline application deadline: 18 January 2018.

Completion date

The project must be completed no later than 26 July 2021.
