This is a supporting Call entitled ‘North East Ambition Pilot - Develop and Implement a Strategic Framework to transform education, raise aspirations and attainment, improve job outcomes and drive forward industrial growth - launched simultaneously and expected to align with the 2.1 North East Ambition Pilot Developing and Delivering Tailored Training Call.
Proposals should focus on tackling the education challenges faced in the North East by setting up and implementing a strategic framework which will bring together educators, businesses and local communities to help transform the education system to meet industry needs.

Location
The project must cover the North East LEP area including the Transition area of Durham and the More Developed area of Northumberland, Tyne & Wear.
Value
Approximately £3,000,000 of funding is available.
Deadlines
Outline application deadline: 23 October 2017.
Completion date
The project must be completed no later than 30th April 2021.
