Succession leadership and management training for SMEs across the area, and particularly proposals that include up-skilling training for women to progress in the labour market.
To focus on: demonstrating lifelong learning for all age groups in formal and informal settings; upgrading the knowledge, skills and competencies of the workforce; and promote flexible learning across the area with emphasis being placed on women to help address the gender employment and wage gap and also with particular reference to promoting learning opportunities for higher level skills in local SMEs.
Training should be tailored to the business; however consideration will be given to alternative approaches, for example use of particular training models that have evidence of success.
The project must cover the Worcestershire LEP area.
Approximately £500,000 of funding is available.
Outline application deadline: 11 July 2016
Full application deadline: 01 November 2016
The project must be completed no later than 31 December 2019
