Due to an ageing workforce, tightening labour market and under-representation of certain groups and women in key roles within Leicester and Leicestershire, local businesses are increasingly identifying higher skills and skills shortages as barriers to business growth especially in some key sectors. Developing the workforce skills of businesses in key growth sectors in Leicester and Leicestershire is a key priority for the area’s Strategic Economic Plan. This call wishes to concentrate on supporting a range of sector based transferable skills and qualifications, especially related to STEM skills within the local workforce, notably in key sector businesses.

Outline application deadline: 12-July-2018
The project must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed start date.
