Call to run a project to support the future growth of local businesses in Worcestershire and the productivity of the workforce, in particular on the succession leadership and management training for SMEs.

Details

The Project will focus succession leadership and management training for SMEs across the area, and particularly proposals that include up-skilling training for women to progress in the labour market.

It will focus on lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, and informal settings; upgrading the knowledge, skills and competencies of the workforce; and promote flexible learning across the area with emphasis being placed on women to help address the gender employment and wage gap and also with particular reference to promoting learning opportunities for higher level skills in local SMEs Training should be tailored to the business, however consideration will be given to alternative approaches, for example use of particular training models that have evidence of success.

The project must cover the Worcestershire LEP Area.

Value

Approximately £500,000 of funding is available.

Completion date

The project must be completed no later than 14/04/2020
