Details

In the LEP area youth unemployment continues to be of significant concern with rates varying significantly across the whole area. Activity is in place via the Youth Employment Initiative to cover Coventry. This call is intended to provide complementary provision in Warwickshire, including specific local priorities of expanding and improving the quality of careers advice for young people, increasing young people’s exposure to industry, improved employability skills and supporting interventions for young people, especially those with multiple barriers to their participation.

Location

The project must cover the entire County of Warwickshire only, within the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP Area.

Value

Approximately £1,500,000 of funding is available.

Deadlines

  • Outline application deadline: 16 May 2016.
  • Full application deadline: 15 August 2016
  • Project start date: 04 July 2016

Completion date

The project must be completed no later than 31 December 2019.
