AAIB investigation to Socata TB10 Tobago, G-HELA
Wingtip collision with fence, Breighton Aerodrome, Yorkshire, 25 September 2016.
Summary:
After landing at Breighton Aerodrome, and while manoeuvring the aircraft to park on the grass parking area, the right wingtip contacted a wooden fence. The pilot reported that he had misjudged the proximity of the fence. The aircraft sustained damage to the right wing but the pilot was uninjured.
